The organization shall advocate its members’ musical and artistic development through various types of learning by constructing engaging and meaningful projects and activities. Moreover, it will work to increase its role in the wider student body by establishing partnerships with other creative groups and promoting active citizenship within its members through regular socio-civic activities.

GMC envisions itself as a thriving, collaborative community of musicians and music enthusiasts within the university. The organization aims to create avenues and opportunities for musical expression and collaboration for its members to enhance their musicianship and their appreciation of music as an art form. It continually strives to maximize its value to the Lasallian community as it goes about creating (and maintaining) an open and inclusive platform for musicians of all genres and skill levels, as well as music enthusiasts, in the student body.
