Since its founding in 1974, the Council has continuously delivered quality student services and has produced outstanding student leaders dedicated to serving and contributing to the Lasallian Community.

Alliance of Science Organizations

Committed to creating bonds and forming solutions, DLSU Chemistry Society (CHEMSOC) is the home organization of the DLSU Chemistry Department. As a professional organization for Chemistry majors and enthusiasts since 1976, we have helped encourage academic excellence, enable holistic development, and instill camaraderie in the organization through its programs. CHEMSOC aims to boost the appreciation of students for the chemical sciences by aiding students in fulfilling their aspirations in the field of Chemistry through personal, academic, and career development. With these, we prepare Lasallian Chemists as leaders for their communities and country in synthesizing solutions to scientific and societal problems.

Mathematics Circle is the only professional mathematics organization in De La Salle University. Our organization primarily aims to bring out the mathematical interest and skills of its members by implementing activities that challenge the students’ competence in the field of mathematics and statistics. These activities also offer opportunities for students to practice their critical thinking in decision-making. The Circle develops excellent Lasallians, scientists, and leaders by promoting mathematical research, math appreciation, membership involvement, and nation-building. Through these, the Circle aims to bring out the best in every student.

The DLSU Physics Society is an organization for Physics majors and other students interested in Physics and its application to other fields. The society upholds the primary goal of instilling appreciation and a deeper understanding of Physics to their members and to the university. The organization nurtures relations and endeavors with each other through Physics. The society is created to assist Physics students and lives up to its commitment of serving side by side with the Physics Department.

Societas Vitae is the official home organization of the Biology Department as well as the premier pre-medical society in De La Salle University. We take pride as we stand at the vanguard of the life sciences, fostering aspiring doctors, scientists, and professionals in the pursuit of knowledge and social impact. Beyond such, we are the home and family of students and scientists alike.

College of Education and Special Interest and Socio-Civic Organizations

AIESEC is a global network of young people spanning across 111 countries. We enable young people to develop their leadership through practical experiences in different environments. We offer young people leadership opportunities to create direct and positive impact in the world together with cross-cultural opportunities. While providing young people with diverse opportunities such as work, volunteering, and other experiences, we create the impact we desire. We engage and develop youth to create a better future for themselves, their communities, and therefore, the world.

AJA Animo is a special interest organization that aims to promote Korean culture without neglecting Filipino culture, furthering the holistic development of leaders through various opportunities made by the organization.

Archers Consulting Group is a non-profit student consulting organization providing management consulting services to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by creating learning opportunities and client engagements for aspiring student consultants who will fulfill their responsibilities as Lasallian business leaders by uncovering their known and unknown capabilities. We are the only DLSU organization that trains Lasallians to be student consultants through its certification programs and seminars. Since DLSU is one of the top business schools in the country, we train a pool of carefully selected Lasallians by honing their skills and capabilities with our training programs before we send them to local and international case competitions.

Archers for UNICEF (AU) is a non-profit student organization in De La Salle University working in aid of UNICEF Philippines. Like its parent organization, it aims to protect and advocate the rights and well being of Filipino youth and women.

The Environmental Conservation Organization (ECO) of De La Salle University (DLSU), established on October 1, 2013 at De La Salle University Laguna. ECO is a special-interest and premier environmental organization for undergraduate students of DLSU Manila and Laguna. As the premier environmental organization of DLSU, ECO shall benefit the members by promoting environmental awareness within DLSU through various activities and extending the network outside the university through partnerships and community involvement projects.

ENGLICOM, founded in 1964, is one of the oldest and largest student organizations in De La Salle University-Manila. With over 50 years of excellence, Englicom is established with a vision of promoting cultural harmony and social awareness among Filipino and Tsinoy students. Open to everyone in the university, Englicom dedicates its efforts to long-term development and nation-building through organizing social, cultural, and socio-civic events. In line with this, Englicom serves as an avenue for its members to develop into future leaders and legends. As a member of the Alliance of Filipino-Chinese Students (AFiCS), Englicom members are connected to the different top universities across Metro Manila. Valuing excellence through dedication and passion, Englicom achieves its vision as Christian achiever for God and the country.

Gakuen Anime Soshiki (GAS; The School of Anime) is not just an organization, but it is also a community, one that is built based on respect for the interests of each and everyone of its members. GAS unites people that share common interests in the field of Japanese Media Culture such as Video Games, Anime, Manga, Music and more. GAS is fully committed to hosting events and activities that could give its members the time and opportunity to unwind from their studies for a bit and bond together.

Green Music Collective is a student-led organization comprised of musicians and music enthusiasts in DLSU-Manila focused on community building and music appreciation with the end-goal of showcasing the passion of its members through different events and activities.

We are a student-run organization which acts as HFH's hands, heart, and voices. We build, educate, fundraise, and advocate Habitat's cause to eliminate the cycle of poverty housing. Through this, we empower the youth to build homes and build hope that improves communities and transform lives.

Founded in 1978, the DLSU Outdoor Club is an ancient special interest organization in De La Salle University – Manila. It started as a group of people with a common passion for the outdoors. The love of the outdoors naturally developed the organization to become an advocate of environmentalism. In the spirit of the outdoors, the organization’s activities encompass all outdoor related activities despite having mountaineering as the staple. Adventurous, fun, and green, The DLSU Outdoor Club truly is the only org you’ll ever want to pack with!

DLSU PRISM is the premier LGBTQ+ organization of De La Salle University. It is defined by its commitment to protect and uplift the LGBTQ+ community by creating a safe space where members are accepted, loved, and honored for their unique and authentic selves. More than creating awareness and inspiring change, DLSU PRISM creates opportunities for people to challenge existing norms and take real action.

Rotaract DLSU is under Rotary International, a global movement for leaders to develop innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Through various initiatives, the organization aims to develop professional and leadership skills; emphasizing respect for the rights of others, with recognition of the worth of each individual; recognizing the dignity and value of all useful occupations as opportunities to serve; practicing and promoting ethical standards as leadership qualities and vocational responsibilities; developing knowledge and understanding of the problems and opportunities in the community; and providing opportunities to serve the community and promote international understanding and goodwill toward all people.

We are Union of Students Inspired Towards Education (UNITED), an academic organization in the De La Salle University Manila. Our organization seeks to provide students in the university with the necessary skills and opportunities to encourage growth and development to our community and foster Lasallian Educators for God and Country.

Viridis Arcus is an esports organization geared towards the development of esports within the university. We provide opportunities for individuals who seek competition in a collegiate setting. We also serve as a platform for individuals to showcase their skills and talents in relation to the esports industry by exposing them to industry professionals while educating the general population about esports.

Writers’ Guild is a home for writers from all walks of life. It stands for more than just an organization; It is a solace for those who wish to discover and explore their passions through writing and literature. Here at Writers’ Guild, we have a dream of redefining writing and showing the Lasallian community what more than words truly means.

College of Liberal Arts Organizations

The Organization for American Studies, better known as AMSTUD, is the home organization of the American Studies majors and enthusiasts in De La Salle University. As the primary partner of the U.S. Embassy Manila for all events in DLSU, AMSTUD serves as a facet to university’s international identity, and strives to provide the means and education to keep the members abreast with local and international affairs. As an instrument to diversify perspective, vantage, and discussion in the university, the organization highlights the insights and significant trends within American society and culture that contribute to research and holistic development as a whole.

The Behavioral Sciences Society (BSS) serves as the official organization of the Behavioral Sciences degree programs (AB-OSDM, AB-SOC, & AB-SPM). It is committed to implementing academic social and developmental activities that benefit the behavioral sciences community. It envisions a student organization that initiates, organizes, and leads projects that employ perspectives found in Behavioral Sciences courses such as social research, organizational development, human resource management and program development.

Cultura is the official student organization of the Department of Literature. It is geared towards guiding its members to become educated audiences through academic study, accompanied with an appreciation of creative and professional works.

Ang DANUM, Dalubhasaan ng mga Umuusbong na Mag-aaral ng Araling Filipino, ay isang propesyonal na organisasyon ng mga mag-aaral ng kursong Philippine Studies medyor sa Filipino sa Mass Midya na nagnanais paglingkuran ang Pamantasan at ang bansa sa pamamagitan ng pagtataguyod ng mga makabayang gawain at makabuluhang pamamalakad sa iba’t ibang uri ng midya.
Kaming mga kasapi ay naniniwalang tinawag upang maging isang matagumpay na Kristiyano para sa Diyos at para sa bansa, at ginagabayan ng mga Lasalyanong diwa ng kasipagan, pagtitiwala at pagkakaisa. Kami ay nagsama-sama sa pagtataguyod ng organisasyong ito upang maging instrumento ng pagbabago sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng matapat at makabayang paglilingkod upang linangin ang sariling wika, kultura, at midya ng bansa.

Dedicated to the comprehensive and sustainable development of the Philippines, the Development Initiative (formerly Kaunlaran) is the professional organization of the Development Studies and the development-oriented in De La Salle University-Manila. In 2019, the organization announced its rebranding, along with a fresh set of leaders and a newly formed constitution. The Development Initiative is now in its third year of operation, and it has steadily expanded its reach by introducing new members, projects, and partnerships throughout the last year. This year, the organization continues its efforts to achieve greater holistic development for the country in order to contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

DLSU-SEASON is the home organization of the AB Southeast Asian Studies Program. We ensure that all members of the program are well equipped with the knowledge, capacity, and determination needed to create a difference in our International Region.

The European Studies Association (ESA) is one of the professional organizations of De La Salle University under the Council of Student Organizations. It is the home organization of International Studies students majoring in European Studies. The Association’s main priority is to build globally competitive leaders and contribute to the holistic growth of its members by providing activities that cater to their interests, from foreign language seminars, embassy visits, academic simulations and more.

Nihon Kenkyuu Kai (NKK) is a professional organization that not only serves the academic needs of Japanese Studies majors but also provides a channel for any interested students to learn about various aspects of Japanese culture, society, and the like.
In line with this, NKK holds various events and activities ranging from language classes and lessons such as kanji classes and JLPT reviews; to events and webinars on Japanese culture and society such as ‘Life in Japan: Arubaito’ and ‘Art of Kimono’; and even program-related activities such as ISJ orientations. Furthermore, NKK aims to establish external partnerships with prominent organizations and esteemed individuals who are at the forefront of promoting Japanese culture in the Philippines. We are also often tasked with the accommodation and assistance of Japanese exchange students, granting members various opportunities to interact with students from Japanese universities and transcend borders.
Through these events, activities, and interactions, NKK aims to foster a shared sense of understanding and connection among Japanese Studies Majors and students with an interest or passion in Japan and its culture within De La Salle University.

Samahan ng mga Lasalyanong PILOSOPO is the official professional student organization of the Philosophy Department of De La Salle University-Manila.
Samahan ng mga Lasalyanong PILOSOPO envisions a community of individuals who are enthused about the search for the truth, thereby making it a community of critical and liberal thinkers, of individuals who are brave enough to be heard and are pro-active, and of those who are appreciative of the mysteries of human existence. We are devoted to dutifully fulfilling our role to seek for truth, promote critical thinking and open-mindedness, and encourage harmony and unity in diversity.

The DLSU Political Science Society (DLSU POLISCY) is the premier political organization of De La Salle University- Manila. Moreover, it was established for individuals who are interested in gaining knowledge about the socio-political and economical structures of society. As such, the organization’s vision and mission are deeply rooted upon the pursuit of sensible perceptions and involvement towards meaningful, effective, and progressive fulfillment of civic duties. Furthermore, it aims to advance critical thinking in order to empower individuals to be catalysts for social change. In response to its goal, the organization continuously develops a broad range of activities that enables individuals to cultivate widespread consciousness on state affairs, reflect on pertinent issues encompassing our social milieu, and engage in community development.

Sociedad de Historia is a professional student organization for history majors and history enthusiasts in De La Salle University - Manila. The organization is all about looking at a wider perspective of things through a profound interest and understanding of the human past. We gather students who are passionate about history; from East to West, ancient to modern, and everything in between! At the same time, we seek to nurture the students’ critical abilities and humanistic creative potentials so that they may find self-fulfillment and serve as catalysts of social transformation. And as always, we will strive to be at the school’s forefront in the preservation and cultivation of human knowledge through the initiation of history-related activities.

SMS is the premier psychology organization in DLSU that expands the presence and significance of psychology and its allied fields-not only within the Lasallian community but also in the country.

Team Communication is the home organization of Communication Arts and Organizational Communication. It seeks to hone the creative talents and technical skills of its members by exposing and involving them in the production of various forms of media such as film, print, graphic design, and television. Team Communication also organizes two acclaimed big events, such as Freedom Film Festival, with commended films of home-grown directors, and Communication Conference that brought renowned speakers from different media platforms.

In its 36th year of excellence, the Business Management Society (BMS) is the 13-time outstanding professional student organization in De La Salle University. It is the home organization for the Business Management, Applied Corporate Management, and Interdisciplinary Businesses Studies programs. Through leadership and project-implementation opportunities, member engagement activities, and socio-civic initiatives, BMS creates a holistic growth environment for all students.

The Economics Organization (EconOrg) serves as a premier training ground for future economists. From academic necessities to extracurricular activities, EconOrg provides a wide array of activities to provide our constituents with an avenue to grow holistically in the university.

The Junior Entrepreneurs’ Marketing Association (JEMA) is the premiere marketing organization of the De La Salle University – Manila. JEMA has continually catered to students, not only through creating unforgettable experiences, but through offering many opportunities for honing their crafts and developing skills needed to prepare them for the corporate world.

The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) is the premier professional student organization for accountancy students in De La Salle University that shall initiate, promote, organize, and coordinate activities for student development and welfare. With more than 60 years of providing quality activities to its members, JPIA produces well-rounded individuals who are technically competent to do their business engagements and know how to enjoy life to the fullest. With its motto of “Bringing Balance to Life”, JPIA spearheads academic, non-academic, and socio-civic activities which would empower and strengthen each and everyone’s individuality and sense of responsibility. Outside the university, JPIA is also a member of National Federation of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA), an organization comprising of different local JPIA chapters which share the same goal of molding highly qualified and competent future accountants in order to promote and improve the business sector of the country.

Ley La Salle is the premier organization for Legal Management students, aspiring lawyers, and advocates of the law of De La Salle University. Established in 1998, it is the official professional organization under the Department of Commercial Law of Ramon V. Del Rosario - College of Business. The non-partisan organization aims to provide its members with services that would cater to their academic needs, activities that would promote the legal profession, activities that would promote a sense of camaraderie, and the promotion of social awareness on current and relevant issues.

The Management of Financial Institutions Association, founded in 1978 is a duly recognized professional organization of De La Salle University that caters to Management of Financial Institutions majors. The organization believes in nurturing the talents of its members by opening opportunities that would develop the best version of themselves through personal development, academic excellence, social awareness and leadership seminars and workshops.

The Young Entrepreneurs' Society (YES) of De La Salle University - Manila is a professional student organization that aims to cultivate the entrepreneurial potentials of DLSU students. Evidently, the organization conducts events that teach student businesses tips and tricks, along with the values of being socially responsible.

Engineering Alliance Geared Towards Excellence

ACCESS is a professional organization of Computer Engineering students who strive to be Lasallian achievers. This organization offers academic and career-related activities in order for students to develop their skills and hone their abilities in engineering. This association underpins its individuals scholastically as well as encourages its members to take an interest in extracurricular activities so as to prepare them as they enter the competitive world of the industry all while nurturing their social awareness and understanding. In ACCESS, every student discovers a family!

Founded in 1986, the Civil Engineering Society is the home organization for Civil Engineering students in De La Salle University. The primary objective of the organization is to provide services designed to aid the holistic development of the students as future civil engineers. The society offers academic and recreational activities to cultivate relationships between the members and develop the students' potential in becoming effective and service-driven leaders.

ChEn is the professional organization of students that aims to cater to the Chemical Engineering population at De La Salle University.

The Electronics and Communications Engineering Society is the premier organization of De La Salle University - Manila for aspiring ECE Undergraduates. The organization caters its members to a variety of services ranging from academic support to industrial immersion opportunities. Now on its 43rd year of operation, ECES, has and will always be in the service of the Lasallian Student body and of society – unified by proactive Christian Achievers, committed to the holistic development of its members.

The Industrial Management Engineering Society (IMES) is one of the leading independent professional organizations for Industrial Engineers. With 45 years of excellence and leadership, IMES is consistently ranked as one of the top organizations in De La Salle University.
Driven by our goal to be one of the most influential student-led organizations, we aim to give our members the opportunities, experiences, and connections that will launch them into their futures as individuals and professionals that will shape the Philippines.

La Salle Computer Society is the pioneering organization in the College of Computer Studies now on its 36th year of service for the Lasallian community. Development members to become competent and well-rounded Lasallians who are aware of the numerous advances in computer technology. LSCS holds many on-campus and off-campus activities for the college. Some of these on-campus activities include programming seminars, workshops, fund-raising programs, and bazaars. For off-campus activities, these include outreach programs, company career talks, and many more.

The Mechanical Engineering Society, also known as MES, is a professional organization for Mechanical Engineering students. It aims to aid the academic needs of its members and at the same time become the official venue for the members to show and improve their talents and potential. The Mechanical Engineering Society was established in 1977. Together with seven key terminal year mechanical engineering students in 1977 (back then, trimesters didn’t exist), Mike Cardenas established the MES to replace the old Meng Society.

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers S200 or SME-DLSU is a student chapter of SME USA. It is the home professional organization of the Manufacturing Engineering and Management (MEM) program of De La Salle University-Manila. The organization is focused on certain fields of specializations such as Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. Overall, the organization serves to aid MEM students as they become the next generation of innovators and Lasallian leaders in the Manufacturing, Mechatronics, and Biomedical industries.
